Hand Crafted Wines

The Vineyard of Pasterick is nestled on the western hillside of beautiful Dry Creek Valley with ten acres planted to Syrah and Viognier. Our annual production is approximately 1,000 cases of Estate Wines produced with methods used in the Northern Rhone in France. We believe wine is made in the vineyard, and strive to let the fruit be expressed in each bottle. To book a tasting email alexis@pasterickwine.com, or call (707) 433-4655 x1

The Wines of Pasterick: Made in the Vineyard

The Vineyard

Our focus is sustainable hillside vineyard farming practices, and our challenge is to keep the vibrant and very vigorous Syrah and Viognier vines in balance, so they can continue to create memorable wine. To us, sustainable means working with environmentally sound, economically feasible and socially equitable practices. We feel we are stewards of our beautiful land, and we are simply taking care of it for future generations.

In October of 2012 our vineyard was certified by the CSWA; the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. Our certification states that our vineyard adopts and implements sustainable winegrowing practices according to the industry's code of best practices and commits to a "process of continuous improvement" in these practices.

And The Family

From the outset, the Vineyard of Pasterick has very much been a family operation. Diane and Gerry Pasterick purchased the winery at the turn of the 21st Century in 1999, and the first vintage was produced in 2000. Gerry and Diane have invested countless hours into this labor of love. Alexis was 16 when the winery was founded. She often helped after school and has spent hours helping her parents after work before joining the winery full time in 2013. We love continuing the legacy of crafting wine with our family!

Craft The Wine

Great wine begins in the vineyard. We consider it our job to guide those wonderful grapes into wonderful wine. The Vineyard of Pasterick wines are all a product of the combination of the fruit of the vineyard and the family’s investment of labor, love, and experience. Wine is versatile and reflects the environment it grows in. We continue to be grateful for our terroir. Our work is to craft wine that reflects our unique vineyard steep hillsides.
